The High Beam Team

Hi everyone! A quick update on the Weekend to End Breast Cancer that's coming up this weekend (Aug 12-13). Our team has met it's financial goal (although if you still want to donate on line you would make me a very happy camper!) and we're super happy. Part of the fun was in having a silent auction and bottle drive where we discovered that our friends have a mountain of bottles that have been lurking in their garages!! A special thanks to everyone who dragged them over for us to take in. We took in 1836 1 litre or less bottles, 144 over 1 litre bottles, 586 single beer bottles and 12 dozen beer/pop bottles!! Thanks everyone for drinking so much!!

I look forward to seeing you out at the cheering stations and thank you so much for all your support!!

For those of you that don't know, The High Beam team is composed of me, Sally and Emma. We had a lovely donation from Spark who made t-shirts for us which you can check out below. They are an awesome company and can design pretty much anything for you!!
